i was almost ready to praise this hotel when i discovered red bugs on my sheets, but alas, how could i overlook the cranky receptionist? of course, they don't provide daily housekeeping either, just one towel for the pool. you would think at these prices, a complimentary water or upgrade would have been in order.

The king studio offered decent space with a laid-back vibe, perfect for unwinding after a long journey. The welcome glass of champagne provided a nice touch that added a bit of luxury.

Check-in didn't go smoothly. Room charges were confusing—unexpected resort fees appeared days later, and the AC was noticeably loud. The dark rooms felt a bit cramped, and slippery shower floors posed safety concerns without grab bars. Also, pool towels were a hassle to get, needing a trip back to the front desk, and coffee availability in the morning was pretty much non-existent, which isn't ideal for early risers. Overall, a mixed bag of experiences.

The lobby exuded warmth with its welcoming design, making the check-in process delightful. Our king studio was spacious, offering a fantastic view of the river that added tranquility to our stay. The pool area was beautifully maintained, providing a refreshing retreat from the day. Additionally, the nearby cafes served amazing coffee, perfect for leisurely strolls post-breakfast.

After evacuating for Hurricane Milton, this spot felt like a little slice of heaven with cozy rooms and a beautiful view. They welcomed our furry friends! The outdoor swimming pool and the spa center were just what we needed to relax. There was a bit of a hassle with finding the right parking, but overall, it was a great stay. 🐾

During our city holiday, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at oaks on the river. The fine river views from our room were amazing, especially during sunrise. The staff was attentive and the breakfast options were deliciously satisfying, especially that huge breakfast sandwich!
